Milk and Honey Restaurant at Cascade

First of all we waited 2 hours and was wondering is it really that good that you have to wait so long, HELL YES!!!! The food was absolutely amazing!!! The building was packed to capacity service was a little slow but its to expected for a busy busy restaurant. Highly suggest the Georgia Peach French Toast with cognac and the Lobster Gumbo with grits, the lobster melts in your mouth. Great date note idea or just want some great food, please try them out.

Restaurant was recommended as a great place to go. We came from South Carolina and went to support black owned business! Arrived Round 3 p.m. online reads they are open until 5 on Sundays but was quickly greeted rudely saying we couldn't be seated because it was time to close at 4.Hostess said go to the "take out" line.
After a few moments we were suprised to be seated to eat by another hostess. The music, scenery, and waitress were all nice. Venue decorated nicely, I saw a small sidewalk seating area.
Pros: nice waitress who knew the menu,the amount of food given was nice, menu easy to understand and several options to choose from served hot. Actually,others google plates help us decide to come in the first place.
Con: wait time (appetizer came out with the main course), pricing on non alcoholic refills, mean lady at the front door, incorrect times listed on google/site, plates not very clean.
I would probably return once more at a different time to see if I get a better experience because my plate of food was actually tasty, I just couldn't enjoy the entire experience because of how it started soon as we got in the door and the only reason we stayed is because we were hungry and ready to get on the road home.

This place is amazing tasted the kale, corn & macaroni cheese it was all on point. All had favor and right amount of spice and little kick in the corn. They are always busy just is another testimony to the quality of food. Customer service was outstanding by Alexis. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to give a good description of how the food would taste. I can't wait until they open up another location in Decatur and I truly hope the quality of food and the service will remain strong as it is now.

The overall experience could have been better but the manager made sure to make things right. I ordered the Salmon Hash it was really good the flavors were great just received the food slightly cool. Sent it back for temperature purposes. Manager made everything fresh. The server was not so attentive. 1st time may give them another chance.
