I have dined at other Nobu locations so was excited when the Atlanta location finally opened. We ordered several items to try a little of everything. We had two sushi rolls, which were nothing special/unique. We ordered a side of spicy vegetables that were too spicy to even eat, and the server offered to bring us some sort of sauce that would cut the spice only for it appear on our check. Kind of tacky. We wanted the salmon but they were out of it so we ordered a prime rib which came out undercooked which is really unacceptable for $60. We also ordered a rock shrimp tempura in some sort of creamy sauce that barely had any flavor and I can’t believe I’m saying this, but Bang Bang Shrimp at Bonefish are better. The black cod miso is amazing as always but I would not come back just for this. The crispy rice with tuna was good but I didn’t love the presentation. There was more tuna so you ran out of crispy rice first and it’s just difficult to eat period. Also worth noting, they bring everything out tapas style which is not ideal. So for several stretches, one of us would have something to eat and the other would not. We love Baked Alaska and I saw several people ordering it so I ordered it without checking the menu (big mistake). It was some bizarre version with guava ice cream and a spiced cinnamon crust. We ate one or two bites and left the rest on the table.
Amazing food but the staff was beyond the best part. The host team was so accommodating and great. Plus our waiter remembered our orders from the day before as well. undeniably the best upscale food experience in Atlanta.
Genesis was so friendly and nice! She gave great recommendations and I’m so excited to come back.
Our waiter, Matt was amazing!!! The food was great, as always. I expected there to be some new opening kinks that needed to be ironed out, but my experience was much better than anticipated. Only negative was the time it took our drinks to come because the bar was backed up. We are definitely looking forward to returning!
Great food and even better service. Knowledgeable and attentive staff.
