Octopus Kitchen

I feel like there is some bait and switch going on here. If you go to this place, know what to expect. This is a hookah lounge with food. A club like atmosphere with loud r and b music and hookahs everywhere. The owner is super nice and the food is actually very good, but if you are expecting a quiet seafood restaurant, this is not it. It’s a loud club with good food. (The security guard asking for ID when you enter is your first clue this isn’t a neighborhood restaurant)

Went here for dinner last night. Love this restaurant and the owner (Muhammad) went above and beyond to ensure we had an excellent experience. The mussels and octopus were prepared and cooked perfectly. It’s nice to actually have an upscale, sit down dining establishment that serves a meal after 10PM. This is much needed in Atlanta. The restaurant has a lounge vibe with music and hookah. I don’t partake in hookah but I think it adds to the ambiance. I highly recommend Octopus Kitchen and will be back. I had read the reviews of this new restaurant, and called to see if they took reservations. They did, and the gentleman could not have been nicer on the phone. The restaurant was more casual than I expected but could not have been happier. Great decor, Super friendly staff, and the food was absolutely delicious. I had a Caesar salad in the Octopus egg rolls, and my friend had the shrimp and basmati rice… I wish I could post a picture… her plate was absolutely beautiful! Towards the end of our meal the owner came over to check on us, and I gave rave reviews about the entire experience. This is a new restaurant, and hope it stays in Atlanta forever!

Great food and service. Surf and turf was heavenly. I even ordered and took some home. The Odessa cocktail is wonderful and refreshing. The service was amazing, our waiter was very attentive and kind. Great atmosphere in the patio. Definitely will return!

Octopus Kitchen was a great experience for my friends and me. We actually visited twice and the service, food, and the bartender were extremely great. I highly recommend visiting this establishment for birthday dinners, just to hang out, or grab a quick bite!
