Paschal's

The food was delicious, although not quite breathtakingly memorable. The ingredients were pretty standard (the sausage meat was incredibly basic; I would’ve hoped for something special or with spices or something in the meat). I came at 11am, and didn’t see any staff anywhere so I actually had to call the restaurant to let them know I was waiting to be seated. Typically, I would’ve expected a restaurant to always have one staff member in view for guest service. However, my waitress was incredibly polite and attentive — she made the experience go up one star.

Overall, the name and decor of the restaurant makes you think you should expect 5-star service but the lack of gourmet-feeling for the food and standard, by good, service made it a 3.5. To elevate experiences, I’d suggest more incorporating a few special touches in dish ingredients as well as training for their service to go above and beyond to provide exceptional service and ambience. For suggestions on improved service, staff should be proactive about typical dietary restriction by asking questions such as: (1) is the bacon okay? (2) by the way, it has milk.

Also, needs music. I would come back on my own, but I wouldn’t take a business guest here. Not impressed.

I commend the servers for being able to adjust to the host adding more people to her reservation than she stated. I sat separate from the party due to space and had a separate server from the group but she was awesome every recommendation she gave was a hit. I really enjoyed the food. Had the shrimp and grits it was so good and even better the next day as left overs.

I wanted to get a meal from this place because of the history related to it.

The chicken was NOT seasoned to my taste.
The teams were good.
My son had the Mac "N" cheese and said it was "good". That says alot!!!!

My husband LOVED his entire meal. (And it WAS tasty).

The waiter, Henry, was very attentive and polite.

Overall, it was a positive experience.

Paschal's was on point. It started with our waiter Zack, whom was very attentive, pleasant and patient. I shared, calamari, yams, mac & cheese and fried chicken. The calamari had a little too much pepper, but other than that, everything was delicious. The cornbread, iced tea and peach cobbler was also very good. A place that I will visit again, the next time I'm in Atlanta.

Really enjoyed my meal here. Everything tasted great! I really like the atmosphere in the place. The cornbread was really good and the sweet tea was VERY sweet!! I had the seafood pasta which had really big shrimp that you really don't see often! Just the right amount of spiciness and flavorful. I recommend it. We also ordered the catfish strips and a veggie plate. Which had yams, collards and sauteed green beans. All which were really good. Definitely a southern comfort meal! Very pleased with our experience not to mention seeing all the historical pictures in the building. Will visit again when we come back! We also stayed at the hotel which is really nice as well.
