Oxtail ramen/oxtail birria tacos were phenomenal! My best friend had the vegan tacos and plain ramen and she said it was delicious! I only gave 4 stars because the girl who took our order had trash customer service skills which is my pet peeve. She seemed like she did not want to be there and wasn't that friendly when asked about menu items. But ultimately, the food saved them and I'd definitely recommend trying this place out!

We visited this black owned establishment on Monday, December 20, 2021. We ordered the Monday special of 3 tacos 2 chicken and 1 steak for $15, street corn, chicken barria ramen, and chips and queso. The lady at the counter was underwhelming to say the least. When we walked up she said she’d be with us in a minute then afterwards she just stood there by the register and I had to walk up to her at which time she said nothing. I proceeded to just state our order. Once the order was ready, we got a text and went up to get our order. I feel the lady at the counter would’ve brought us the first order of food we had which was the ramen, tacos, and corn if we had waited for her to bring it. The tacos were pretty good because the taco shells were seasoned well and a bit crispy. The street corn and the ramen were just decent. I feel they all lacked that wow factor and flavor punch that Mexican food should have. Also initially the lady at the counter forgot to give us the chips and queso that we paid for so we had to go back to the counter for that. The queso and chips were both a bit bland and unmemorable. We decided to then order a second order which was the chicken nachos which were also nothing to write home about. I would recommend coming on a Monday or Tuesday for the tacos only. Everything else is worth skipping including the lady at the counter. She brought everyone else’s food directly to them and didn’t bring our food the first time since we got up quickly and got it ourselves, but the second time she just handed us the chicken nachos over the rail instead of directly to us. We would’ve been better off ordering at an automated kiosk with no human personality. I don’t think any of the other items are worth trying to be honest except the tacos.

My first experience with Pretty Little Tacos was at Politan Row. My wife and I had been there the night before for dinner and sat next to a couple who had ordered some of these tacos and they looked INCREDIBLE. So we decided to come back the next day and try some. I had an extremely hard time choosing between the steak and the oxtail tacos so I got them both with the plan to save a couple of tacos for a snack later. These tacos are PHENOMENAL. It was hard to decide which one I liked better. Biting into the oxtail taco, I thought "it doesn't get any better", but then as soon as I bit into the steak I decided that was my favorite. Then going back to the oxtail I realized the steak was definitely 2nd place. Conclusion, whichever taco I was eating at the time...that was my favorite. You really can't lose. The staff is also extremely friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to going back this weekend and trying some of the other tacos. This is DEFINITELY a place you have to try, woulda gave them 10 stars if I could!
