The food is really good but the service is substandard. Tip: Just ask “Would you like a drink menu?” instead of asking how old we are as soon as we sit down and giving me side eye when you don’t believe me! She made me say it twice before handing me a drink menu and after all that we didn’t even end up ordering drinks. No refills unless you ask- one person would ask for a refill and she would dash off and get it instead of seeing if anyone else needed anything. Come on, work smarter not harder.

Been here a few times, and I will be back because it’s convenient, the food is always good and usually the service is better.

Looking for a laid back spot with great burgers on a Thursday, then go to Public House 28. The food was delicious and our waitress Tatiana was on point with making sure our cups were full and we had what we need! My new kick back weekday spot ????

My wife and I have visited with friends for dinner twice in past few months. I am usually a burger and fries guy and it is has been fantastic both times. Bleu Cheese burger is great and the bun is quality. batter dipped fries are my favorite side. My wife and our friends have had a salmon dish of different sorts each visit. Portion is pretty big and all said it is fresh tasting. Beer prices are good.
The patio is nice and peeps bring their dogs which is fun for us. I hope they get busier and can make it. The owner was very nice when he was visiting tables.

I was pleasantly surprised with Public Hose 28. I live in the neighborhood and finally decided to give it a chance and I'm glad I did. Burger and fries and beer we're good. The place is larger than it looks from the outside and the patio is dog friendly. Definitely adds value to Riverside.
