Scotch Bonnett Jamaican Restaurant

This is a roadside dive that is absolutely worth stopping for. The food is outstanding. I particularly like the jerked chicken with cabbage, rice & peas. All of their food has a delicious, deep, smoke to it. Can't rave enough about these folks.

Great, authentic Caribbean food. The smell of well seasoned meat cooking on the grill, let's you know you're in the right spot! The staff is great... down to earth, and willing to help. At time the line can look out of control, but stick around as they move quick and more so WORTH THE WAIT!

I've often drove past this place before, but never one it's actually stopped and tried the food. This is about as close as you're going to get to authentic Jamaican food cuisine. So basically you look at the menu and go to the window and tell the guy behind the glass what you want then make it in about 10 to 15 minutes, it is hot fresh and very delicious. I recommend trying their brown stew chicken with rice cabbage and plantains which are my absolute favorite. I will say they are a bit pricey but the amount of food you get is well worth it. So please if you're in the area don't hesitate to stop by and try them out you won't be disappointed.

I didn't order, yet I heard it was pretty good.
I looked at the prices and decided I could go to a dine-in restaurant for the same price or cheaper. I guess it all depends on what you order. My diet is pescatarian, no meat besides seafood.
It definitely smelled good and again, I was told it tasted good!

If you want some of the best jerk in Atlanta this is the place. I have never been disappointed with anything from this truck. I love the snapper, the traditional jerk chicken and ribs and the coconut shrimp. It's small but efficient and for the amount of food and great taste the prices are beyond reasonable. I've been a fan of this place since I first tried them. Don't let the outer appearance fool you, best island food hands down!
