Six Feet Under Pub & Fish House

At random we wanted to find a good place to eat after visiting the zoo. After a Google search and several choices to choose from, Six Feet Under was chosen. It's 1.4 miles down the road from Zoo Atlanta. Lots of great choices on the menue, so tried whatever sounded good. There was a 15 minute wait if you wanted the regular dining area. The rooftop dining was the preference and it made the entire experience even better...immediate seating. Great food, great service....go check it out!

Like coming home, going to Six Feet Under makes you feel so comfortable even with all the crazy construction and traffic. They have a terrific variety of food - known for seafood, they also have burgers, chicken tenders, all kinds of tacos, salads. The bar is terrific as well. Just ask Margaret to whip you up something. Or Brandi. Or Jan. Or anyone behind the bar.

And if you come now while construction is crazy, you can probably get to know a server or bartender or two (you never know how that can help for when the construction is complete and you need a table. Trust me, from personal experience).

1st time at this location and it was what I needed to make my life complete. Had the catfish platter with corn and fried okra. Absolutely delicious. For the drink I tried the Six Feet Under Lemonade, which has bourbon. It was good as well. The staff was friendly and attentive. Our waitress was Kelsey and she was awesome. Will definitely return.

Wasn’t a huge fan of the spicy rat toes that the waiter hyped up by the fried seafood basket was great. The turnip greens and killer slaw were excellent. The table also ordered black n blue burger (delicious), the Cajun salmon (flavorful and perfectly cooked), and two seafood baskets one with shrimp, calamari, and cod and the other with shrimp, scallops, and catfish. Next time I plan on ordering drinks, the table next to us said they were all great ordered as-is from the menu.
