OHOP is an Atlanta staple. I have been going here for over a decade, and I have never had a bad meal.
The place is always packed, but the wait is not outrageous (less than 30 minutes). My only complaint is that the servers are often too busy to check-in as much as I like, but they are very accommodating.
I highly recommend the strawberries. They come with freshly made whipped cream that is the perfect accompaniment. I am also rather fond of the scrambled eggs with diced ham (and American cheese if you prefer).
Blueberry pancakes were amazing. Went on a Sunday around 11am and it was very crowded but the staff was very friendly and efficient. Our server Grace was very friendly and quick. Food was fresh and hot. I'll definitely return
Always good food. I love the buckwheat pancakes. Always a big, fluffy, tasty serving of scrambled eggs. Not the cleanest place I've ever been. Service prompt and efficient, if not the warmest & friendliest I've ever had. A great Atlanta tradition, though.
Except for the fact that the new owners fired all but one of the employees who had been there for years under the previous owner, the food is still great. Service is not quite as good as it used to be. It is worth the trip there and the wait just for the food. The quality of the food has not changed a bit under new ownership.
