Thumbs Up Diner

The food was really good and they give you a ton of it. Neither my husband, nor I, was able to finish our whole meal there. The wait staff was very attentive. Only complaint I have was ITS CASH ONLY! There is an ATM inside and a Bank of America across the street but both charge you fees is you don't bank with them.

I ordered the heart smart omelet. It was ok I guess. A little bland, way too much cheese and VERY oily. My fruit were way too sweet. It was like eating a bowl of candy. I gave 3 stars for excellent customer service. I did see a few other food selections I would like to try, so I will give this place one more chance.

Let's be truthful this is a gem. The environment was wonderful and the food delicious. Be aware not to let your eyes be bigger than your stomach. The pancakes are huge and the portions large.

The only issue was the small orange juice It's for kids and makes me feel like taking shoots. But, I don't hold it against them. I really loved the place.

I ordered a tuna melt with sweet potato fries. It was delicious. The best tuna melt I've had before. I'm happy to have delicious food. I'm in town for a week and my cousin recommended this place to me. I'm happy I checked it out. The only negative is the parking is limited.

While there is generally about a half-hour wait on Sunday....the portions of food and it's Great taste allows one to overlook the wait time. The service is superb. Be aware that it's a cash-only restaurant. If you go on a weekday there is a much shorter wait time than on Sundays. But the service and the food are still superb.
