Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Great smoothies. I haven’t had any issues with customer service after several visits. The staff has been friendly and accommodating.

I've been here twice and both experiences were not what I was hoping for. I was glad to find out they had a new location close to work. My first visit, the cashier charged me incorrectly. Another employee resolved the issue.

I decided to go for a second visit, hoping it would be a better experience. While ordering my smoothie, a different cashier placed my order while talking to other employees. I sat down to wait and roughly 15-20 minutes goes by and I never received my smoothie. I never saw anyone go to the blenders to make my smoothie. The cashier who took my order was gossiping as well as several other employees.

Luckily, the manager was walking around and I mentioned it to her and she had it taken care of. Needless to say, I leave 3 stars because of the great service I received from the manager and the employee from my first visit. But this location needs improvement.

The food is good, but the service is lacking.

I have been here multiple times since this location has been opened, and for some reason, I cannot understand why certain things have not been rectified yet. I made a pick-up order which I have done multiple times, and here yet again, I am given a time online as to when my order will be ready, and I wait an additional 13 minutes to actually get the order in its entirety. To add insult to injury, I waited at the cash register to inquire where my smoothie was and two of your employees looked back at me and said nothing, and then left me sitting there in silence for another minute before asking me ”what smoothie did you have”?!

This is my first review for the location, but seriously guys, do better. I want to support new businesses in the neighborhood, and it shouldn't be a struggle to do so.
