Velvet Taco

Update: the owner replied to an empty review and that's cool so I'll put more effort into this.

I have not had a single bad taco from this place! Every new one I try is amazing, and I eat way too much of this food. I especially like the window for picking up food (an excuse to make tacos part of my dog walks), the amazingly topped tater tots, and the chicken and waffles taco!

Servers have been very friendly, and super nice to dogs when brought to the outdoor seating.

Menu is unique. If you do not like to venture out in the food world this probably isn't for you. I got the green Chile taco but with chicken and it was delicious. I love how when they call out your order they say taco time! I did not like that they don't serve your food on a plate or any form of one. There were 3 people in my group and all our tacos were together on one tray.

Excellent little restaurant at the Interlock complex in Midtown West Atlanta. They offer counter service with a unique offering of tacos and traditional margaritas and “Ranch Water” (tequila & Topo Chico.
The service was very good, the staff friendly and very helpful.
I had the “Fish & Chips”- beer battered Atlantic Cod, curry Mayo, slaw and string fries. It was perfectly fried fish making Avery good unique taco. Margaritas were authentic and very good as well. Fun little place, Interlock needs to work out a better parking deal for people visiting their retail and restaurant locations.

My boyfriend and I visited velvet taco while here for the weekend and I can say it was exceptional. There was a bit of a line but it moved quickly and there was reason for it . So many options to choose from, my favorite was the Kobe bacon burger taco. Food was on point and flavorful. My frozen margarita and red velvet cake added that literal icing on the cake to my birthday weekend. A must if your in town! Service was great and the manager even came to our table to check on us! Simply wonderful:)

This is a really nice location! You can sit inside or out and the outside is covered from the sun, there are fans to keep you cool and the space is definitely a vibe.

The 5 star rating is for the service that we received. It was exceptional! Everyone is super friendly and helpful....especially Desi. She went above and beyond to make sure our first visit was outstanding and therefore our first visit won’t be the last :)

The unique tacos (tho a bit pricey) were quite a delicious experience. They also do a great job with making vegan accommodations.

The parking garage is connected to the building and is free for Interlock customers.
