Best place for people who are looking for authentic Ethiopian food. So yummy????????????????
Super clean, great customer service, fantastic place for families and friends. ????????
Veggie platter has been my goto option for five years now. It never bored me. The red lentils are the mildly spicy ones. I love them.
But then this is the first time my friends and I tried Ethiopian coffee ceremony. It indeed was one special ceremony. They roast the coffee beans right there all fresh / grind / brew and serve. Oh. My. Goodness. I've never had such a smooth coffee ever in my life. I don't want to go to Starbucks anymore! Unfortunately I don't have a picture of the ceremony. But it is totally worth a try if you are there.
We tried the vegetarian platter which was really nice. On the menu it is mentioned that you it serves 3 but if you are really hungry as we were it would be mostly two people. Every single item on the platter was delicious specially the beans and potatos. The bread (Injera) has a bit of sour taste to it due to the fermentation which is really appetizing. It's also super fluffy.
This was my first time having Ethiopian food. It was a nice experience. My only suggestion would be to use bigger Shrimp for the Shrimp dish in red sauce think it was Shrimp Bole Awaze. The menu says medium Shrimp however, what came on my plate was extremely small Shrimp. That was very unappealing. Please add larger Shrimp to your menu. The Fish in the rice dish was amazing.
