Located in College Park shopping center with a Dollar Tree, Kroger, and other shops.
You can run errands then hit this spot for a good meal.
It's my new go-to spot for a taste of authentic island cooking from home.
The staff have smiles and they're genuinely cool.
They make your plates as you request.
The food is fresh and that includes the plantains AND baked desserts! That's a rare find.
It is clean, neat and should you want to enjoy your meal there at the high bar, you can. They even have bread, plantain chips, bran ice cream!!
Prices are very reasonable for the portions you receive. I really like that. Parking is extremely limited, tight though. Hopefully they can add a space to sit outdoors on a beautiful day.
You'll definitely continue going back.
My 2nd time trying this food. Beef patties, oxtails and mac n cheese were good! Rice and peas dry and average imo. Nice portion size.
Oxtail is so tender. The curry goat taste like they killed the goat fresh in the back. I'm serious, it's not tangy or have a wild taste! I don't eat goat from no one else but Golden Krust, these people know how to cook it til it's tender!
Old National location is the best 1. Locals keep it packed forcing the kitchen to keep fresh food ready to be served. You will never leave hungry. Generous portions for your money. I either get the oxtails or the curry goat.
Great food! My wife loves this place. Any Caribbean resturant that gets her stamp of approval is worth her visit. She is from the Caribbean. The people are nice. The atmosphere is fun and inviting.
