Daisuki Sushi Izakaya

This food is great. The owners, the chef, the whole works, are 100% Japanese. Of course they have added to the truly Japanese cuisine very delicately prepared sushi rolls which are now very popular in the United States and beginning to penetrate homeland Japan, especially in the Tokyo and California markets.
My wife is Japanese and we lived and worked in Japan for almost 20 years. We are now back in the states, ending up in Atlanta, and have been searching for good quality raw fish sashimi, and we have found our goal finally at Daisuke. (by the way Daisuke in Japanese means something you love, and izakaya means it’s a drinking place, with various smaller dishes that go well with beer and sake, can’t wait till we can get back here to start some heavy drinking and tasty eating.)
Of course like many restaurants, due to the pandemic, they are take out only, but will begin outside dining soon. I’m sure this place will be a success story to be continued. Can’t wait to go back again, soon hopefully!!!!

Met the owner. He's very nice and even told me fun facts of their culture. :) The food is excellent!
