Hen Mother Cookhouse

Great brunch with the classics but also some flair. I especially loved my dish with chicken and biscuit and fried green tomato ????I appreciate that they try to use local when they can and the chicken is one of those items. We sat outside and it was such a nice morning.

Their brunch is so amazing! The veggie hash is to die for, French toast is exceptional, and the fried chicken is perfectly cooked. Everything is well thought out and equally amazing. Can't wait to come back and try more!

I was taken here by good friends who live in the area. I'm glad they did. The service was very friendly and attentive. While they do not customize orders, there are so many great choices with a very generous "sides" menu, you can get just about anything you would want. It was all perfectly prepared, very fresh and had great flavor. If you have ever thought of trying a cinnamon bun, be sure to try this one. Three of us shared it to tell you how large it was. I'll definitely be back here. As info, it's very popular and not terribly large so there may be a little wait. I view that as a good thing since it's well supported by a locals. I'd be more nervous if we could walk right in on a Sunday. Thanks for a great first time experience hen mother!

What can I say other than simply amazing! My husband and I like to support local family own businesses. Since we stepped foot in Hen Mother Cookhouse, we fell in love, so much that we have made it our weekly weekend brunch date.

The menu is diverse taking your pallet through an explosion of flavors. The ambience is cozy and inviting, incorporating live plants throughout the space.

Our favorite part, the staff! Everyone makes you feel like family and to us that’s what sets them apart from the rest.
