Nancy's Chicago Pizza - Johns Creek

Only the best stuffed pizza in Atlanta! Still prefer the downtown Atlanta location but just found out about this one in Johns Creek. Pizza is great! Jasmine was knowledgeable about the menu and made some great recommendations. Not cooked the same as other pizza places so make sure to give yourself time to wait on these delicious pies. We had the garlic rolls and greek salad to start. On the pricey side but can easily be re-heated as another meal. Two slices, salad and garlic roll were more than enough for a meal...

The deep dish pizza was amazing!! The atmosphere and service could have been better though. The restaurant could have been cleaner - the front windows were filthy, which didn’t make a very good first impression. Once we were seated, it didn’t take long to figure out that either the air conditioner wasn’t working, or it needed to be turned way up. We were seated in a front booth, and we were literally sitting there sweating because it was so hot in there. The service started off good, but our waitress became less attentive as our meal went on, which was odd because there were only three tables in the entire restaurant with people at them. We waited about 10 minutes after we finished eating before we could get the waitress to bring us a box. Then we waited another 10-15 minutes before we could get her attention again and ask for our check. The wait wouldn’t have been so bad if it hadn’t been so hot in the restaurant. But, as I said at the beginning of my review, the pizza was amazing. Because it was so good, we will give Nancy’s another try. Everyone has off days, and I hope our experience will be better next time.

There was a small mistake with the order but she apologized and corrected it with no other issues. Kept drinks filled, gave us regular updates on our order, and made sure we were satisfied the whole time.

Deep dish was cooked to perfection and arrived in the expected time as well.

Other reviewers are correct! The food here is excellent. The service is attentive. Your order takes forever to come out of the kitchen. So, if you have time to enjoy the trendy decor and to watch a little NFL Network on a Saturday afternoon, this is your place. Otherwise, put it on your call-ahead carryout list. The "Rocco" deep dish pizza was amazing.
