Love! Love! Love! The Crab Spot. My husband and I go often when we want to have a delicious dinner and great music. I even took my daughter here for her 19th birthday and had a really fun girls night out. I’m reading all of the good and bad reviews and I wonder how anyone could have a bad experience at this restaurant. The food, service, music, and the overall atmosphere is amazing. Do not let people with bad attitude deter you from having an fun night!!! I love this place. We highly recommend this restaurant! And the food is better than the Popeyes chicken sandwich!
At first I thought this was going to be experience where I get up and leave because it took a second for our waitress to come, But when I say I’m glad I STAYED!!!!!!!!!!!!! Honey the Waitress was the best it was just busy but the BAND & ALEXIS KEPT M THERE 3 hours after we was done eating, Her Voice is AMAZING, Now I feel like every Restaurant should have a live band With an Alexis, Her Vocals the band was pure magic, And I’m only 27 I was thinking about eating ad going to the club, But she made it an all in one experience a restaurant/bar/Lounge I literally force myself to leave, Thank you “The Crab Spot” & Alexis the band I’ll definitely be back and bring my friends Friday & Saturday’s is when she is there, my only question of the night why isn’t that Women SIGNED!!!! PERIOD!!
Ps! This the first nice review I’ve ever wrote! Thank you for the wonderful experience great staff, Beautiful entertainment!!!
First the good. Their boil bags were very good; perfectly cooked fresh seafood and the seasoning was great. The not-so-good is the general lack of experience, as seen by poorly trained staff, complex order taking tablet software, checkout register that required the customer to go to the front to sign and didn't accept chip cards, and yet still they had the same high prices as much more mature restaurants. Also, they were out of many popular items (catfish, grouper, fried green tomatoes, and a few other things we wanted), which seems odd since they were not even close to crowded. If items can't be kept in stock (due to lack of customers?), take them off the menu and have them on a catch-of-the-day menu when they're available. Worth trying once maybe, but not worth going back.
We are from out of town and The vibe was very welcoming. The food and the service was very substantial and taken in a timely manner. I’m I ordered the seafood ???? boil, it was banging I got the medium sauce and found myself sniffing. My fiancé ordered the lobster Mac n Cheese as I enjoyed my Long Island ice tea. The service was good, I couldn’t find nor do I have any complaints.
