My husband and I and a few friends had the distinct pleasure of dining at the C&S Chowder House last evening. It was fine dining at its best. Yummy oysters, sublime chowder, and desserts from heaven.. fantastic waiter, special attention from management, etc.. if you have not patronized this fine restaurant, you should!!
We will certainly dine there again!!!

Went last night for our anniversary dinner and the food was excellent! We tried the New England Chowder, the Fried Shrimp and the Scallops and I had a Prickly Pear Mojito. Everything was fresh and so delicious. Our waiter Matt was awesome too! Can’t wait to go back!

By far the BEST customer experience we’ve had all year!!! Starting with a warm welcome from the General Manager to the delightful server. While the service was amazing, so was the food. I would highly recommend C&S Chowder House for any occasion. You would not be disappointed!!!

There are a lot of good things about C&S but it is tough to be overly enthusiastic when there were a few faults. Food was great. Bloody and chowder were highlights. Service was great. Food took way too long. For $26 the lobster Cobb salad should have had more lobster. It was maybe a half a pound at most.

    Food: 3/5
    Service: 5/5

My family and I ate at C&S a while ago. We had a large party and ordered various entrees and appetizers. The clam chowder flight was very good, but it was served lukewarm. The calamari was different, but still tasty.
My husband ordered a fried seafood platter and thought it was good, but nothing extraordinary. I ordered the lobster roll (the cold one), which was decent. The fries that came with it were delicious. Overall, every dish was decent and priced as expected.
However, the service was absolutely wonderful. I won't go into the details, but our waitress Marissa (I believe that was her name) was an absolute sweetheart through all the chaos. She was very attentive and friendly and made our dining experience great. She and the other waiters were always smiling and providing great service the entire time. We caused a bit of chaos, but everyone, including the manager, were all absolutely wonderful. For the service alone, I would gladly make the drive to come back to C&S any time.
