Osteria Mattone

We came for a nice birthday brunch. The staff made us feel right at home in their cozy dining establishment. We had plenty to choose from and each dish was excellent. We'll be back.

My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable. We had the Buratta. It was fluffy and smooth drizzled with balsamic, paired with green tomatoes. The bread and oil was simply amazing. But the best was the short rib ravioli.

Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable and was able to dial in the best wine pairing for my short rib ravioli. Both were out of this world.

The restaurant itself is unassuming, but don't let it fool you, you're in for a special treat.

Amazing atmosphere and unique staff. The experience goes far beyond the food here with a generous level of attention to guests and an emphasis on comfort.

If it's nice outside, sit on the patio. No excuses! The wine selection is great, the salads are HUGE and the pasta is delicious. Indulge in a beautifully crafted 'pizze' for lunch - it will impress you.

This place will be a shining star on Canton Street for years to come.

Close to great but too expensive for the experience.

Front of house is very attentive, helpful and courteous. Beautiful decor inside and out. Lovely location with valet parking.

Back of the house had nice presentation with quality ingredients. The wait was reasonable. The food itself was disappointing. All of the dishes were under seasoned, proteins were dry and the pastas were watery/oily.

Could be excellent and I think it will be. They seem to strive for greatness and have a good team. Best wishes. May return someday.
