Shanghai Street Food and Bar

Shanghai street food and bar exceeded all expectations! Their food is amazing, I had the pork fried rice and it was so good. Their drink menu was awesome! I can get all my favorites beers and cocktails right here. Sara behind the bar was very attentive and nice! If you haven’t been here get you are missing out! I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.

Everything from entry, to the bar, and the food was incredible. Shanghai has a homey and authentic feel. The bartenders are very knowledgeable, delicious cocktails, and superb wine selection! Ingredients are fresh, unique, and DELICIOUS! Shanghai needs to be your new go to in downtown Roswell!

The food is tasty (particularly the Dan Dan noodles & chicken wings) & the service is friendly & efficient. For that alone & the fact that it’s filling a hole in the Roswell food scene, I’m sure that Shanghai will thrive better than its predecessors. That said, the only thing lacking is a unique vibe & feeling of authenticity. Throwing up a few “typical” Chinese decorations felt like an afterthought instead of a homage to the culture of the people for which your food should be inspired by. That said, I doubt that very few patrons in this area will take note or care!

The environment and staff is wonderful. They are definitely interested in what their patrons want from their food. The wings are absolutely wonderful. The entrees are tasty and tender, but the flavors lack a certain depth that would come from adding some spice to the recipes. Speaking with the owner, it sounds like there is a short supply of heat sources, but they'll find the right combo as they move forward and continue to provide a wonderful dining experience.

Exactly what Roswell has been missing! Everything about this place is spot on. My husband and I went here for a cocktail after a day of remodeling shopping. The staff is super friendly; you feel like you are at home. The music was also a pleasant surprise. Not some lame elevator music or pop-country. More like 90s alternative. We ordered the chicken wings and OMG. I typically avoid chicken, but these are so tasty. We also got the dumplings and boa and neither disappointed.

After having such a lovely time, we went back and took a friend. The entire staff remembered our names! Cheers! Food and drinks were again, amazing. This time we got the same things because it was so dang good, but also got the short rib fried rice.
