Abuelos Mexican Kitchen and Cantina

One of the hardest thing when you travel is finding good food.... Abuelos got it down packed... great food, great price...P.S. they do great you at the door, and are always making sure you are good.. food was amazing... they actually make the avocado on the spot.. you can see it when they make it...
California Burrito and NY Burritos sabroso!!!

I dined here on the weekend with some friends. the restaurant is in the publix shopping center in sandy springs and has plenty of parking. we were seated immediately upon entering and our waiter came to take our drink orders. we received chips and salsa quickly. their salsa was great. just enough kick to it but nothing too overwhelming. my friends ordered margaritas and let me tell you, they were STRONG. definitely could take the ease off of you if it's been a rough day or you're wanting to have a wild night. i ordered the chicken fajitas and they were good. the tortillas were really good and fresh. the only thing that could improve is there was a lot of excess oil in the bottom of the skillet. they could use a lot less oil next time. my friend got the new york burrito and took part of it home cause it was a lot of food. another friend got the grilled chicken quesadilla and enjoyed it. overall, the food and service was good. i would come back

Food is delicious and very consistent. Service is great..but it would be nice to be greeted and not ignored when coming through the door. I stood in the front for nearly two minutes as staff made eye contact but wouldn't say a word..not even hello,welcome, just a moment. It's hard to spend your hard earned money in a place you don't feel welcomed.

By far the best in town. Real authentic food! The entire staff is very friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure satisfaction. The bar has an excellent variety of drinks and can make to order as well. They can even accommodate large party reservations as well. I definitely recommend this restaurant with a small town family feel.
