I love, love, love this place. The food, and service was amazing. Bogartz was recommended to me by a friend who is an avowed foodie. Everything from the cornbread appetizers with homemade pimento cheese, to the duck breast was a delectable delight. Chef Bruce rocks

The chief is amazing. This place needs to be discovered...and will! The taste and creativity of each appetizer, salad creations ( simple yet amazing combinations), soups and entrees are over the top! And good gracious...the desserts??!! Well, you just need to drop in and see for yourself! ♥️♥️♥️

Very nice and fun staff combined with a tasty mix of foods. Lots of variety on the menu with unique flavors and ingredients. The duck club sandwich was amazing and so was the pork chop special.

Very tasty food, all of it made from scratch. I arrived late to meet friends - all women - for dinner. They'd already eaten and were about done when I arrived. However, the portions were so large that they couldn't eat all their food, so they shared some of it with me.

I had some fried green tomatoes with homemade pimento cheese as an appetizer. The portion size was huge! Definitely enough for two people to share... It may have been called something else on the menu; I'm not sure.

The person that ordered it didn't like it, so she let me have it. I liked it. It was unusual in that it was presented with some kind of a picked dressing, along with what I think we're pieces of bacon, shredded lettuce, and some other things. Very different and very tangy. You wouldn't want to eat a lot of it at one sitting (like I did), but it's great to split.

I got to sample the fried shrimp, too. I'm generally not fond of fried seafood, but this was delicious! The shrimp were juicy and sweet. I recommend the cocktail sauce over the tartar sauce. The batter didn't hide the shrimp flavor at all. I highly recommend them.

Finally, I ordered the gumbo. Very good, although a bit salty for my taste. You could taste the roux. It had just the right amount of spice, about medium - not too hot, but definitely not blah. It contained everything you'd expect in a gumbo, including sausage and shrimp.

To sum it up, the food I had was very tasty and the portions were definitely generous. The prices are generally moderate - until you get to the dinner plates, which generally run from the low $20s to about $30. That's about par for the course in Atlanta, though.

Give it a try. You'll find something you like on the menu for sure.

Inventive recipes and engaged staff make this place an enjoyable dinner. The appetizers and sides, like the cream corn and sweet potatoes, we're particularly good. Only four stars, because only one restroom for each sex is available. This makes it difficult to guess when it's safe to stop your meal and go to the restroom. Also, my fried chicken was good but underwhelming, considering all the other great dishes out there. Still, if I were in the area I would recommend giving it a shot.
