Great southern food. Solid pairings like sweet potato pancakes and savory toppings. Crispy fried chicken that goes great with bacon and pecans. This a great location with a nice dining area. Service was good even though they were super busy. Unfortunately our reservation ahead of time still meant a half hour wait for the table.

Tried out Tupelo Honey for the first time and it was pretty good. The service was nice and attentive with the coffee refills being quick, which was a plus.

The food itself was very tasty, but nothing that I would truly go out of the way for. Compared to some breakfast places in Downtown, it could stand out more. I ordered the Breakfast Bowl and our table split the Pecan Pie French Toast. Both are a worthy option.

The space itself is well decorated and spacious, with ample parking. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd definitely grab a bite here.

Food was really good. Service was bad though I think it was just our server. The manager stopped by and so did another server. They were both nice and helped out (refilled drinks mainly since our server wasn't around much). We were being served by the bartender who forgot to put in a few of our table's drink order. She then proceeded to start closing the bar down at 7:30 (I looked at the clock because I thought we may have overstayed our welcome) when they don't close until 9 pm on Sunday which is when we were there. She seemed way more interested in making sure she could leave on time then serving us and keeping our drinks filled. I got the sweet and spicy fried chicken which was good though I was surprised it wasn't the batter that was sweet and spicy but rather it is just covered in a sweet and spicy sauce. It was still good though. I asked if I could just get dark meat as that is my preference and was told no, but when the chicken came out it was all fried separately as in a wing, leg, thigh, and breast. It would have not hurt them in any way to just give me dark meat and I bet if I had asked the manager that may have been an option, but the bartender who was busy closing probably did not want to put it in and explain to the kitchen. She said it was a half chicken so it couldn't be done, but it was already separated into 4 pieces in order to fry it up. Anyway, I probably won't go back. I am not fond of paying over 30+ dollars for a meal and not getting the service to match. There is a Popeye's across the street where I don't have to pay for the bad service and they will give me all dark meat.

The atmosphere was super cozy. The food was amazing I had the chicken & biscuit brunch dish and have never had a better brunch dish in my life! But I think the best part about my dining experience was the service, Griffin was amazing. He was so attentive and had a great sense of humor that made me and my friends feel like we were the only ones in the entire restaurant (and it was a very busy lunchtime!) big shout out to griffin I definitely will request him again! Tupelo’s we WILL be back!!

really good service and the food was above average, but still just average, prices were a little on the higher side for the menu offered. relaxed crowd and friendly atmosphere, good vibe and caters to a niche taste market.. not sure it will survive as it didn't stand out enough to cause me to want to drive back. A few tweaks and it could be awesome for a family or group. On the higher end of average.. almost above average but not quite...
