The Smokehouse Country Grill

Love this place!! My wife and I enjoy trying local breakfast locations and this is my favorite. Biscuits are second to none!! Large portions, friendly people, etc... if in Ellijay please stop by, you won't be sorry. Lunch and dinner are great too by the way, we've tried them all.

Excellent home cooking. The best place to get breakfast in Ellijay. Owners greet you and make you feel at home. Prices are very reasonable.

Friendly staff and great breakfast! Place all the locals go! Fabulous way to start the day! Best biscuits ever! Hashbrown casserole reminded me of my momma's, God rest her soul, brought a tear to my eye because no one ever cooks it like my momma did, until now! Definitely a five star experience!

My wife and I tried the catfish, meatloaf, okra, greens & corn casserole. The food was great as were the prices and quantity. The desserts looked fantastic but didn't have room for anymore food. They offer an exceptionally wide variety of main course items! I definitely want to come back and try some of the smoked meats on the days they're offered. I highly recommend you get to know this hidden gem.

Good country cooking and lots of it. The owner is a great guy. They are getting busier and having some growing pains, but they just need a few more good wait staff during the busy times. Be patient, and you will really enjoy the meal if you like homestyle cooking. Their lunches are a great value. Again, why go fast food when you can support a solid local business with better food for less money than you would spend at McDonald's?
