Shane's Rib Shack

We stopped in for lunch. Seems like a franchise bbq restaurant. You place your order at the counter when you walk in, then find a table. I tried the sampler. The ribs were dry and lacked in flavor. The pulled pork was good and the chicken tenders were delicious.

Pulled pork is delicious! We have always had good service and great food when stopping here. Even though they were busy, the food was out in a timely manner.

The staff were friendly. I ordered the basic pulled pork sandwich and a side of baked beans. The sandwich is served with a hefty amount of pork on buttered, toasted Texas toast- very tasty! The beans were delicious. I believe my bill was around $7, a very good value in my opinion. The restaurant is clean. We will definitely go there again.

Tasty, very good barbecue. First time there. Atmosphere does come across as "rib shack ", a cute authentic seeming touch. They do a good job in an area with some stiff, more local competition.

Okay, if you are in the area this is a place you need to stop if you like barbecue. The staff is friendly, professional, and the food for barbecue is reasonably priced. Good selection of menu choices. The food was well-prepared and brought out in a timely manner. Place was clean and atmosphere was good. If you like barbecue I would give it a try.
