I have to say in my opinion I was disappointed. I was really hoping this would be a good Mexican restaurant. My meal was very bland to me and lacked authentic Mexican taste. I will say I was pleased with how fast I was seated at the table being how busy it was. And the food came out hot which was nice to.

Still working out some kinks that I have no doubt they will do. We were greeted immediately upon entering. We like to sit at the bar and there was space so we did. Tank was behind the bar serving up some fantastic drinks!! Homemade sangria was super good! The house tequila was crazy smooth. The margaritas were good. And we tried an Absolute strawberry lemonade which was great on a hot day. Has chunky guacamole which was very fresh and very chunky. We decided to try the Downtown Americus for dinner. It’s like a chimichanga over the fajita veggies served on a skillet with guacamole, lettuce tomato and sour cream on top. And we had to try the poblano which was also very good. We did the ala crate one with just cheese…it was battered and fried and very good! Would highly recommend.

I went on opening day/evening, Monday, August 16, 2021. Seating and service were surprisingly fast.
The prices were a bit on the expensive side for most entrees, but they had a good deal on combination plates.

My biggest complaints are that the ground beef was extremely bland and seasonless and that the Chile relleno was not cooked in the traditional way I have had it at any other mexican diner. It was not battered or deep fried and was just a plain green bell pepper with the same bland ground beef and a little.cheese on top. I was highly disappointed in this.

Other than that, I would give it a second chance, considering they have some tasty looking ceviche and the large margarita was a fair price.
