Jinright's Seafood House

Been going here as long as I can remember. And they always deliver delicious fried seafood. The wife and I shared the Captain's Platter and were overwhelmed with the yummy offerings. Shrimp. Oysters. Fish. And much more. Couldn't eat it all. Brought leftovers home for later. Good bar selection, too.

The Service was fast and the waitress was very friendly. She was helpful with suggestions when I asked her for recommendations.

Food was good, but not great. This restaurant is right across the street from and tidal plane but the shrimp were disappointing. They tasted like cheap farm raised tiger shrimp. I got the blackened shrimp, and they used too much of the seasoning, so it overpowered the shrimp. However since I said they didn't taste like first rate Atlantic shrimp it didn't really matter. Unless you like your blackened shrimp lightly seasoned.

The sides were frozen and canned. However, the food came out fast and was hot. Overall this is a good little restaurant, it wasn't too expensive , and the food was decent. I would go back, but I really feel like they could and should do better with their seafood.

The food is really good and the portions are large! The seafood platter for one is big enough for 2! It alone had 6 to 8 pieces each of scallops, shrimp, oysters, and a lot of clams. The clams were delicious very fresh and cooked perfectly not chewy rubber bands. The service was just as wonderful. I highly recommend this place
