Original Jay's Fish & Chicken

Had the half order of fried shrimp (10-12 shrimp) with coleslaw and baked beans and it was all very good and a bunch of food at a great price. My husband had the scallops and he thought they were fantastic. The breading is light and flaky and dishes were piping hot.
The staff is really friendly, polite, and keeps the place nice and clean. There's room for truckers and RVs to park on Frontage right beside the restaurant so it makes for a nice stop during trips.

Wow - found this place while driving down I-95. Stopped because of the great reviews and was not disappointed. The fried shrimp were the best I have ever had. My husband had the fried chicken and felt the same. Not a fancy place but the food was fabulous and the staff very friendly. We highly recommend it. Fast in and out as well. Great prices as well.

First time there and it was a wonderful experience! Food was awesome taste wise and the portions were huge...my adult daughter and I split our platter and it was enough for both of us!!! We had the seafood. Believe me it is worth the trip!!!

We stopped for gas on our way to FL. Saw the high rating by a lot of people & decided to try. It IS the answer to the question, "where can I go for GREAT fried fish & chicken?" Fried whiting w/ greens, & mac & cheese was fresh, hot & lip- smacking good. I put in my "favorites" and we will be back!

I was visiting my brother in Brunswick from NY I was recommended to stop and eat here. It was very good. The portion were good. The food was hot (5 for that). The people were friendly. When I come again, I will definitely come again.really enjoyed.
