Woodside

You won’t find a better creative duo than the Carriers! Words in my vocabulary are not enough to do justice for the experience that is dining at Woodside.

The food is absolutely scrumptious, the wine selection is stunning, the atmosphere is lovely! The color pallet imparted throughout the intimate space feels sophisticated yet relaxing (I love the crushed velvet!).

Hubbs and I had the pleasure of dining here on the night of the winter solstice and had the following:

If you are looking for the best food, wine, ambiance, service and all around great evening experience, start at Woodside … a new European style Restaurante on Saint Simons Island. The Menu, which changes frequently, offers something for every palate … from Appetizers to Filet Mignon to Swordfish to Chicken and Pork. The Swordfish was the best we’ve had anywhere. The Wine List, though selective, is perfectly matched to the Menu. Woodside is a special place for a special experience … a welcome addition to SSI.

We’re so excited for Woodside, another excellent dining option for SSI. The wagyu ribeye was incredible. Honestly one of the best ribeye’s I’ve had. Perfectly tender, almost like eating a filet, but the robust flavor of a ribeye. Amazing. We loved the wines by the glass (ended up just ordering a bottle of the Sonoma Cab, it was delicious) and the desserts (we got them both) were amazing. We can’t wait to go back.

I love the ambiance, decor and size of the restaurant and menu ! They also have a great wine selection. I have had the filet , fish and the pasta all delicious but The chicken is my favorite dish, it melts in your mouth . Friendly and knowledgeable staff .

This place is an island gem! The chicken was divine and the appetizer was balanced, light, and lovely. From appetizer to dessert, everything was delicious. We’ll be back!
