Coastal Kitchen

Coastal Kitchen was our favorite restaurant on St Simons. But yesterday was not good. We only came for Happy Hour so cannot say anything about the main meals. But service was bad. We had to wait for a while to get seated, then wait again till finally our order was taken. One member of our party had to wait for a long time to get his beer, my drink was way too sweet (was replaced at no charge though). And the appetizer shrimps, while delicious, were very few. The oysters were ok but not great. Too bad. The surroundings are beautiful.

We hadn't been in about a year, I forgot how good it is. Good service, great food. Probably one of the best views around. Eat outside if it's not too hot. Not the best place to take kids unless they're a little older, there were plenty of roughly 10 year old kids there but my 5, 4 and 1 year olds would be a bit out of place.

The food was excellent and the cocktails were fresh and delicious. The staff are down to earth and friendly. An overall great dining experience!

I’ve eaten at seafood restaurants in multiple countries, and I can say without a doubt this was one of the most amazing experiences to date. The food was ridiculously delicious, the presentation was superb, and the service was equally as good. Everything from the drinks to dessert was carefully crafted. I’ll be back!

Had the blackened Flounder and lobster nachos. Wonderful. Great service while remaining unobtrusive. Food was outstanding. Will definitely return!
