ECHO St. Simons

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner! After reading some other reviews, I was skeptical because the bad service reviews but decided to give it a go anyway since my boyfriend grew up going to the king and prince as a child. I was pleasantly surprised when we were greeted with nothing but kindness and hospitality from the moment we walked in. The hostess read our reservation notes and knew it was our anniversary which was very sweet and she even made sure to share it with our server. Our server was Rachel B. And she was very kind and attentive, even took a beautiful photo of us. I’m not sure what happened with some of the other reviews but we had wonderful service and would definitely return!

Beautiful view, food and service was really good. Big portions at lunch, hot chicken sandwich and grouper tacos were awesome!!

Overall very nice the only con was the wait staff, for the price I expect friendlier service. As far as the food and location top notch! Definitely recommend for couples!

Great atmosphere, service, and food but smaller portions and high prices. We decided to try Echo for our 23rd anniversary and we are glad we did. We requested a seat with a view and the atmosphere was excellent. Our waiter was very courteous and attentive. Pimento hummus was excellent and so was the house Merlot my wife ordered. The stuffed salmon was delicious but the portion small. The drink and food prices were high but typical for this type atmosphere and beachside view.

Food was very good! The seaside view, amazing! The service from our waitress downplayed the entire feel of the restaurant. She was dismissive, dirty pants, and apron. All that could be looked over if she was attentive, friendly, or knowledgeable about the menus and drinks. Keep it up echo! Management was nice to sit us when the other waitstaff didn't. Work on service and you will have a 5 star restaurant. The location, view, and food is phenomenal but the wait staff needs to be worked on. Still would go for lunch.
