Doro’s Italian Restaurant

I normally don’t do reviews but this place was pretty bad. I had the chicken parmigiana and it was eh okay I guess. Kinda like chicken tenders. My wife’s dinner was pretty rough too. The calamari was so overcooked it was like pork rinds dry. There were a bunch of servers but you couldn’t tell,they were all on their phones. We were right across from the bar and had to get up to get drinks. This place is mediocre at best. This picture is from the men’s room. Nasty

5 stars for Calhoun, everything was fresh, hot and really good. I’m glad I gave it a second try.
I applaud the owner for opening in Calhoun, I’m sure it can be challenging.

I love the pizza, rolls, spinach artichoke dip and a few other things.
I will be back.

Service was excellent both times.
Defiantly a low light restaurant.

Great food above all!! Later found out this is their second location and food is amazing. The seafood pasta, chicken picatta and Francese, seen above are all amazing dishes to try on your first or next visit. Definitely will be coming back. Thank you doros.

This place has some really good Italian food!

Such a nice addition to Calhoun! The food and service was excellent! We were quoted with a 15 minute wait understandably, since it’s a new restaurant in the area and was busy. We were seated shortly after and greeted by our sever almost immediately. The complimentary garlic knots were amazing along with the chicken parmigiana and chocolate cake. Overall, it was a great experience and we will be back soon!
