Thatcher's

Absolutely loved everything I have ever eaten there. my son who lives in Texas says this is a must go to place any time he comes to visit. I remember meeting the owner several years ago and him also explaining that he is also from Texas. We thought that was truly awesome to have Texas BBQ right here in Georgia.

BBQ is my go-to when I travel, and Thatchers did not disappoint! Brisket, pork, and ribs were tender and flavorful. 3 sauce options: sweet, spicy, and mustard based. I'm looking forward to trying it again, maybe at one of their other locations. Thatchers in Calhoun, you are fantastic! (Full disclosure. The green beans were sweetened, maple syrup maybe?)

They have the BEST food. From the salads to the tater tot buckets to the BBQ plates. My complaint is that it takes a long time to get your food, it's so noisy that you can't have a conversation and it's always hot no matter the season. It's perfect if you order online, pick up and eat at home!!

EXCELLENT food and our waitress was great! Even though we got there fairly close to closing time & had never been there before everyone on the staff treated us like family. We will be back here a LOT.

Excellent food! This is beyond your typical BBQ restaurant. There are some unique options here that are all delicious. They are bit north of town and the outside is a bit misleading. But inside you’ll be greeted by friendly staff, a menu full of fantastic food, and a fun laid back atmosphere. Definitely recommend it if you’re in the mood for BBQ and beyond.
