Brisket is the best we have ever had! Pulled pork, nachos and Brunswick stew all great! So nice to have a great bbq place here! Highly recommend! 👍🏻
Nice to see we have a good barbecue restaurant. They are open for take out at this time. Unfortunately they were out of the two things we wanted, pulled pork and ribs, so we got the “pick 2 platter” with brisket and sausage. Brisket was delicious but sausage was a little dry and broke up when stabbed with a fork. Mac and cheese and bread pudding were good. Brunswick stew was thick and one of the best tasting I have had. Prices seemed normal except for the baked potato at $12 and getting a protein adds another $4-6. Restaurant inside is modern and open with a dining room in the back and a gathering bar with a few tables in the front. Owner his great plans for 8 hand picked draft beers plus a standard domestic. In restaurant should start within 2 weeks.
Amazing bbq and great local family ownership. Amazing stew and sides as well.
My husband and I just got takeout from here. I’m so glad a decent barbecue place is finally here. Items we would get again: BBQ nachos, ribs, brisket, potato salad, and Brunswick stew.
The nachos are delicious just be aware the website you order on doesn’t have all the ingredients listed. It had bbq pork, cheese, chips, sour cream, and jalapeños. We removed the jalapeños. The ribs and brisket were tender and had good flavor right off the bat, but my pulled pork sandwich had no flavor without adding barbecue sauce. The Brunswick stew is thick and meaty and comforting. The sauces were nice and thick but not too thick and not too vinegary.
We didn’t like the Mac n cheese due to a severe lack of cheese. The banana’s foster pudding was oddly grainy so that was off putting. The bread pudding also had the grainy sauce on it. Maybe it’s supposed to be like that? But it wasn’t to our taste.
We will definitely go back for nachos, brisket, ribs, and Brunswick stew. Give them a try! They still have things to work on but it’s a million times better than Holcomb’s and Georgia Butts.
This was my first time eating here and man was it good! Owner and wife are very nice. I had the barbecue nachos and they were amazing and the service was outstanding! Very highly recommended
