Service was good. Our server Kay or Kate. She was so nice.
However, the food was disappointing.
Country Fried Chicken had bread crumbs as a coating. The vegetables were very salty. The mashed potatoes were from yellow potatoes giving it a less than desirable appearance.
Was not the country cooking my family and I had hoped for.
Cute little cafe. It was nice and clean. Took u back in time
Wonderful homey resturant with wonderful food and exceptional buttermilk pie. Small town atmosphere and very friendly waitress. Will go back for sure.
Lemme tell you something. The cornbread is soooooooo so good. Everything else is too and inside the place has such a homey feel I just love it
I've frequented this place a few times. Enjoyed the food & drinks. Their collards can be a hit or miss, but the cornbread is always consistent. At times the meat can be overly seasoned which can take away from the meal. Many patrons enjoy the buttermilk pie. It has a good taste, but not my favorite. If you like pound cake, then you will like buttermilk pie. ( I'm not a fan of either.) The customer service is always good. I've never had a bad experience. Sometimes it can be very busy during lunch hour, but the staff & manager are professional & maintain a positive energy & attitude.
