985 Korean BBQ Restaurant

Really enjoyed our dinner at this new KBBQ restaurant. We shared Combo C, which was a great value for 5 people with a variety of beef and pork cuts. The most impressive thing was the array of 10 different banchan, soups, and fresh vegetables that cover the table as soon as we order our food. There is also a well around the grill plate where they refill the corn cheese, steamed egg, bean sprouts, and mushroom. The cuts of meats are high quality and not too fatty. The kimchi fried rice was not cooked in front of us, but still delicious. Our waiter was very attentive and skilled at cooking our meats. The restaurant is expansive and each table has their own smoke ventilation from the ceiling that works very well that my clothes did not smell of cooked meat when I got home. We def plan to make this a regular stop for our KBBQ cravings as the location is convenient and there is plenty of parking

Similar to other Kbbq in the area, but not the same value as the top places. New to the scene in the in Buford, just mins from Mall of Georgia. Building used to house a Golden Corral. Redecorating was done well inside. The dining area is well ventilated and clean looking. I will have to come back and try a combo. We had 3 orders Gal-bi and unfortunately it didn’t seem to be the same amount of food as the other places. The marinade was good, the side dishes were solid (cheese corn was excellent). Service was also very good. The only knock is the amount of protein given for 40 dollars per order. Perhaps the combo would be a better solution in the future.

This place is awesome. My waiter did a phenomenal job explaining stuff to me as this was my first time having food in this manner. The food was so good!! So many things I've never tried before and as a very lucky eater I enjoyed 90% of what I tired. This is a must try location!

I’ve heard great things about this place, so wanted to give it a try! The place is clean, big, and most importantly not smoky! Everything was great but the side dish was just okay. Not as impressive as the other kbbq places. I look forward to visiting again next time :)

The food was delicious. High quality meat. We ordered Combo B and Spicy Chicken Bulgogi. We got there before 8 and there was a little wait. Service was a bit slow considering they just opened on Thursday and busy dinner time. Price was alright, not an “all-you-can-eat” place. Besides that, everyone was friendly! :) recommend the Lychee Martini and 985 Lemonade Cocktail
