Overall it’s a good place to go. I won’t say the Peking Duck is 100% authentic, but it’s very close, like 90% close. One thing to be aware is that the thin slices of pancake, showing in the top-left corner in the photo, cost $5 for each steam box — sounds like not too bad? But one box of pancakes is definitely not going to be enough for your Peking Duck. Because of this I deduct one star. The server didn’t even tell us it’s gonna cost that much, too bad.
Peking duck was excellent and the BOGO offer makes it more tempting. A must try for the duck itself.
Must know about this Peking duck offer:
1. Peking duck is 2 course, meaning you can have the second course as stir fry or soup, let them know which one you prefer. Automatically bring second course as stir fry.
2. Free duck only valid M-F, weekdays.
3. Free duck is single course only, but you can get either stir fry or soup for additional $5.
4. You can have the duck with either Chinese pancakes (thinner tortilla like, this we preferred) or Baos (thick heavier puffy dough pastry, very filling).
We also tried some of the spicy dishes from smaller 30 page menu and also from the main large 50 page menu. We weren't blown away with some of the dishes but respectable. Too many to try and must come back for more. Do have to compliment their fried spare ribs with tea leaves, it was a new flavor to us and still makes me want more.
Wonderful experience! Had the Peking duck and it was delicious! Great service and .food
