Me and some friends were invited to taste EM Bop's menu, and we had a great time. EM Bop in Duluth offers table top Korean BBQ, cooked in charcoal, and it first opened its doors in August 2019 so they're still pretty new. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the owner's brother, and the manager, Andy, who were very nice to us.

They have a variety of meats including beef, chicken, pork, and seafood. We feasted on:

    - Seafood Udon: okay, kinda spicy but octopus was too tough.
    - Seafood Scallion Pancake: delicious, probably one of my favorite dishes.
    - Manduguk (dumpling soup with beef brisket and vegetables): spicy, and tasty. Loved the dumplings.
    - Beef brisket: can't go wrong. Crispy and juicy.
    - Egg Souffle: just not my thing, but still good.
    - Sundubu Jjigae (soft tofu hot pot): not my thing.
    - Oyster Blade Balgi: protagonist of the night, so so good. Very tender and tasty.
    - Marinated chicken: A-OK. I usually don't eat chicken at Korean BBQs but I enjoyed this.
    - Pork Belly: My absolute favorite, wish there was more.
    - Pork Galbi: way too overcooked.

Some of the Banchan options were: corn, lettuce wraps, rice, kimchi, Kkakdugi (radish kimchi), and Pa muchim (scallion salad) which was my favorite.

In this restaurant you don't cook your food, they cook it for you. Some of the staff seemed to be new at this and many times overcooked our food which was a shame. Overall, this place was good. Would come back.

    - Cerdo Galbi: demasiado cocido.
