Fung Mei

Good Northern Chinese fare. Reasonable price. Good value.

We used to love coming here for Korean style Chinese food. The jjajjangmyun sauce is still good- but the noodles are overcooked. When we told the waiter, he quickly took the noodles and came back with the same overcooked noodles. The lunch portion of the tangsooyook (breaded sweet and sour meat) was small. Not quite the place we remembered from its glory days.

Great and efficient service with excellent portion to price ratio. Ate the lunchbox special they have with the pork bun appetizer. It was a surprising amount of food and a good thing I had a friend with me or I might not have finished it all.

Really just good food and service. The lunch was filling. I had a Mongolian beef lunch box which is a tray with nested bowls that fit soundly within. A tiny crisp salad, two won ton with an egg roll, rice and the main Mongolian beef. It comes with soup and the waitress even brought out two small bowls of something we didn't request. It was simply a sample of something we may not have had before. That's just thoughtful and smart. It was relaxing and relatively quiet. A well lit space with dark wood and white table linens.
The menu was easy to read but none of the dishes were overly complicated. The prices are great too.
Never a reason not to go.

Fung Mei was good some what. Egg drop soup was good but salty, The crab rangoons was good. Different shape then what I'm used to but good. Spring rolls was good. My mother in law had the rice with chicken and beef and shrimp..She didn't like it. She said the rice was over cooked and bland. No taste really. Normally fried rice has color to it and this had none..The customer service was great. No complaints with that.
