Delicious noodle soup and duck much better than Houston China town.
Nice place to eat and they have reasonable prices. I enjoy the roasted pork the most.
The food here is exceptional. If you enjoy Chinese roasted pork, roasted duck, bbq pork, soup, or more then this is the place for you. The flavours of the food whisk you away to a place of happiness and peace. I usually get the roasted duck noodle soup. That is my #1 selection every time.
With the quality of their BBQ, I think they didn't get the attention they deserve. The store is inside City Farmers Market (not in food court but across the check out line) in Duluth, but you can enter the store straight from the outdoor parking lot; that's how I often go to the store. They have dine-in seats but I always come in for pickup. I prefer to enjoy all those tasty BBQ at home comfortably. The crunchy skin of the pork BBQ is like popcorn, tasty and crunchy. The duck BBQ is also very good, soft tender meat and juicy. Their fried sesame bun (bánh tiêu) is good, not greasy burn as some other places. Their sugar-cane juice is best. They juice it when you order so it's fresh, plus, they peel the sugar cane and keep it clean in the cooler. You can taste the fresh and clean sweetness of it when you drink. Some other places don't keep the sugar cane so clean and their cup is not transparent so if you go home and pour the juice out, you can see dirt or impure particle inside the drink.
If you love the crunchy pork skin of the BBQ like me, you would might prefer having the pork BBQ there or hurry home as soon as possible because the longer the pork BBQ stay inside togo box, the softer the crunchy skin will get. If by the time you bring them home and the pork BBQ skin already got soften, you can reheat JUST the skin in the oven a bit (just a little bit). If you put the whole cut including meat and skin to oven, the meat will be dried out, then you will have crunchy skin with super dried meat. I know it's a bit of work but to taste the food at it best takes work. I have a small toaster oven so it work best for small portion oven-needed like this. If you buy a lot of the BBQ and store them in the fridge to eat later, the pork BBQ meat is still very moist and soft when you microwave them (my longest test is after 3-4 days in the fridge, they still taste good after microwaving but I would not recommend to store them that long). If you microwave the whole pork BBQ pieces (meat and skin), the skin will get very soft but if you're ok with it, then just microwave the whole thing since the taste isn't affected by that. I love the crunchy skin so I oven the skin and microwave the meat.
