I'm not a coffee shop person, so it says a lot that I liked this place ???? they also offer bottle soda and have a nice small bit of kitchen offerings. Add in varied, cozy seating areas with free WiFi and I'm won over.
We met friends here and that's going to be what we do from now on. This coffeehouse is adjacent to the free parking structure in town - super convenient.
Very nice coffee shop in an old house in downtown Lawrenceville. Good coffee, whether quick or pour-over. Lots of other types of drinks available. Good pastries, a few breakfast and lunch items. Located beside the downtown parking deck. There are a limited number of spaces directly behind, but plenty of parking in the deck, which opens directly to the rear of the shop. Can be a little slow at times when busy, but that's to be expected with most coffee shops. Take time to read the history of the house's previous owner when waiting to order - interesting link to the past.
The coffee is excellent here! Their espresso is strong but not overly bitter and even in a latte there is subtlety in the flavor. There is a ton of room to sit and you can generally find a quiet spot somewhere. The only negatives of this shop are that because of how large the space is it is hard to hear there baristas call or your order so you have to check in if it is busy. Last note is there seems to be very limited parking but the place is always fairly full so there must be spaces elsewhere that I do not access.
The location and environment is very beautiful and convenient. I ordered a iced latte and it was very tasty. The service could be improved because it took a while for them to even take my order (they had to get some muffin situation taken care of) but I do believe you should take care of your customers first. The time we waited for the 2 coffee drinks to be made (15-20minutes) was equivalent to waiting in an insanely long line even though there was barely any people there. Service needs to be improved on, but the drink was great.
I stopped in there the other day. This place is really cozy. It's an old house located by the parking deck in downtown Lawrenceville. They have a bigger menu than I remember, friendly staff and delicious lattes! You can apparently rent out meeting rooms upstairs as well. It's a very cool place to hang out and get some work done. I'll definitely be back!
