Food and service was good but dinning experience wasn't that great. A little girl was there running on the seats, sitting on the back of the booths. She was all over the restaurant even in the kitchen. Totally unattended! Was extremely distracting!!
The food was great, but the kitchen was slow. Our server warned us of this and kept checking in with us. She was very friendly and quick to get beverages, extra butter, etc.
Food was good as well as prices. The service was off though: they served coffee with no spoons, then when they served our food we still didn't get utensils so we sat there looking at our food for a few minutes, cleanliness was also a little subpar(i could see trash on the floor here and there), the servers forgot some food items here and there as well.
The service was slow, and the Server did seem to be very organized, nor attentive. As a former Server, I was taught never to serve food that is not visually appealing. The Corporate Trainers drilled the concept of "What would you want your food to look sitting in front of you?" Needless to say, this isn't what IHOP uses as a training tool. After speaking to the Manager, the issues with the food were rectified.
Immediately seated for breakfast (8:30 am). Table needed wiped off, sticky. Other clean tables available. Waitress friendly and accommodating. Food order came out quick and well prepared. Highly recommend this I-Hop.
