I had wanted to try this place for a while because of their back story of how the restaurant started after their successful meal prep business. It's amazing that they are able to make that transition.
I am not an expert on Carribean meals or flavors, so this is just my own personal taste and opinions. Here's my recommendations/ opinions:
Atmosphere: I love the tropical vibe the
entrance gives off. It's like an introduction to the rest of the restaurant. The teal works in there. It's a nice atmosphere with the flowers in the hallway leading to the bathroom. The teal color chairs and booth are nice. To really level up the restaurant, they can add more flowers to the ones already hanging to make it more lush.
Service: We can't complain about our server. She was nice and efficient. She gave us enough time to think about what we wanted instead of rushing us through.
Food: The appetizers we had were delicious. The oxtail we had was a little too sweet for our taste. We like our oxtail to be more savory. Also, we prefer our oxtail without dumplings in it. Another thing we noticed is that the gravy or sauce on the oxtail was a little thick. Also, we think the oxtail would taste better on a bed of white rice. However, the oxtail itself was well cooked.
My recommendations:
1. The coconut shrimp.
2. Taste of jerk Tostones.
Tried this place for the first time today. Ordered the oxtail.
The only cons I have is:
#1. They actually served me neck bone versus tail which is very similar except you can tell because of the bones. Still the meat was tender and plenty. Also Wish they wouldn’t add so much of the sauce used to cook the meat in over the rice as the flavor is a bit to rich and would rather prefer to have the rice separately to help better balance and control the richness of the flavor.

#2. Wasn’t expecting it to have a bit of a spicy kick but it was tolerable. I prefer no spicy. I’ve eaten at other Caribbean restaurants, and the oxtail is typically not cooked with any spicy ingredients unless you ask for jerked seasoning, at least for the places I’ve been to.
Other than this I can see myself giving this place another try.
The customer service was very good , we went on their 1 yr anniversary. The fries was fresh and hot my cousin had but my food wasn’t so good to me. The curry chicken was bland it didn’t taste like nothing though. The atmosphere was 10/10 service I get 7/10 and the food 5/10
My husband and I went for a lunch today and it was AMAZING!! It was our 2nd time there. We love this place...we had the jerk chicken quesadilla and rasta pasta. It was wing Wednesday and so we took some home to go. The rum punch and strawberry lemonade were on point. Our server, Ms. Camille C. (who is also the owner...I believe) was down to earth and very attentive. We will definitely be back
We visited back in September. No wait before being seated. The food was good. The wings were very spicy. The atmosphere is nice; very pretty. The drinks are super strong. The funnel cake was the best thing on the menu that night, even though it took forever to get it.
