Mimi's Comfort Food

I have eaten here several time food is always fresh and tastes amazing. I recommend the beef brisket sandwich you won’t regret it. Come early as it does sell out from time to time. Mimi is sweet as the cobbler she serves up always going the extra mile for her clients. Good job.

Simply delicious southern comfort food. Good portions, lots of flavor but not over seasoned, and great customer service. Compared to other small soul food restaurants, they have figured out how to make home cooking to store front work - no long lines, consistent taste from one visit to the next. I will blame Mimi's for thwarting my summer fitness plans!

Me and My boyfriend sat down and ate. At this point on May 12, 2021 she told us they have been open for about 2 months. I had a Carolina Chopped BBQ sandwich! The Coleslaw was Nicely Seasoned over BBQ pulled pork that was so tasty and tangy! It was moth watering and super fulfilling for a great price. I had a side of baked mac and cheese and it was delicious it tasted homemade 🤤 🧀 . definitely will be coming back to try a hot dog!!!

This food is by far the best soulfood I’ve had since moving to Georgia two years ago. I had the chicken, collards, Mac and cheese, sweet potatoes and of course corn bread. Everything was fresh and hot and seasoned to perfection. I had the Texas Dust on the side and let me just say next time I’ll get it on the chicken. The owner came out periodically and even spoke with us on our way out. We dined in but I don’t see how taking food to go would be an issue because when I say it was HOT and FRESH I mean that!

We found Mimi’s on Google and Decided to stop in for lunch. The staff were so sweet! The food was incredible. I had a crab cake sandwich with the best fries I have ever had! My boyfriend got the Brisket sandwich and he said “ I was down in the dumps before I ate this sandwich. It was life-changing. It’s only going up from here!”

Divine- delectable- deliciousness defined! It was truly a comforting experience.
