Juan, our server, is the man. His positive attitude and attention to details made this the best Colombian restaurant experience in Atlanta. For the restaurant, the food was delicious and the cocktail was very strong. Viva Colombia and I will return.
As a Colombian, I have to say that the food in this restaurant is very authentic and has a lot of flavor. The reason I am giving them 4 stars is that the parrillada was a little overcooked, and the portion of the steak was very small. Additionally, the mazamorra was mainly liquid and didn't have much corn, but the flavors were definitely there. I am coming back to try some of the other dishes that look delicious. If you are around the area, you should definitely stop by and try some delicious and authentic Colombian food at a great restaurant with excellent service!
Love this place! The food is delicious and Maria, our server, was very friendly and accommodating. We’ll definitely come back.
UPDATE: I returned to the restaurant the next day and brought a colleague. Unfortunately the food and service were very different on my return than what I had experienced on my visit the day before. We had a different waiter, a male with a beard and neck tattoos, who provided barely any service after we were seated. I believe he was assigned to us because he spoke English. Other than taking our order, he never returned to our table, despite the restaurant not being very busy. We tried to flag him down a couple of times, but he never looked back at our table, as he stood at the counter chatting with other staff.,
Also, for what ever reason, the food was not nearly as tasty nor prepared as well as it was the day before. For the above reasons, I had to change my review from five stars.
Liney Romero gave us excellent friendly service and she was super helpful when it came to the menu. The food was on point, authentic, and the best place around to fill that Colombian food craving. The atmosphere is great and usually pretty busy and lively on weekends. They only make their soups on weekends but it’s worth the wait. Weekdays they have a daily lunch special that is inexpensive.
Fun restaurant in Peachtree Corners designed in the Colombian tradition of offering live music with savory dishes from this country. The atmosphere is casual, food options/portions are generous, and the pricing is fair to a little high. There are special "weekend" food options that go quick too. Ample free parking. A fun place to celebrate a birthday on a weekend which is when the live music tends to happen.
