Hermes Gyro on the Fly

The owners are wonderful Greeks who speak with a marvelous, deep accent. In an area rich with quality Greek restaurants, they stand out with authentic, delicious, plentiful food. And at a reasonable price.

Very friendly staff. Generous portions of genuine Greek food. Also some American classics, but everything was very tasty and satisfying. They even gave us extra soup to go for later.. It wasn't busy at 1:30 pm Saturday, but our server was obviously distracted, sitting with (I think) the boss, so we had to ask a few times for straws and condiments. That's why only four stars.

If you haven’t made it over to Hermes yet, you should definitely check it out! We’ve had excellent dinner twice and are currently eating breakfast here for the first time. The food is ridiculously good; the service from Greeks is terrific; the portions are HUGE, and the price is very reasonable. Open everyday from 7am-9pm. Come try it out (especially for breakfast!)

Excellent food. Have eaten both breakfast and lunch and both were good. Lots of food for the price and they have great Gyros and Baklava. Will definitely eat here again. Authentic Greek food with good service.

I came here on recommendation from my grandfather who said the food was good. As soon as we step through the door we are greeted and seated. And before we even order, we are given a delicious cup of soup and a loaf of bread. I didn’t ask for it, but it was given complimentary which I though was awesome. Then we got to the actual meal.
After a reasonable wait, I get my lamb gyro and potato, and let me tell you something right now. I have never had a potato that delicious in my life! The seasoning was perfect and I’m still thinking about it writing this review 6 hours later. Our waitress who I believe was named Thomasina, was what made this meal even better, as she was attentive, well timed, and wonderful to chat with.

I would give this review a 6/5 if I could, to emphasize how great my lunch was!
