Taichi Bubble Tea

Boba tea has become a phenomenon in western culture over the past decade and we have probably all seen them every few blocks. I would say many are decent, having relatively simple ingredients, and most have very similar aesthetics, with the typical modern loft environment. This place is not very different in that regard, and the employees are as nice as I would expect, going through the motions of day to day work with us young adults trying to be cute with these colorful drinks that edge us closer to type 2.
Having been to the place twice, I confidently say the drinks are average compared to other bubble tea spots. They are good, and I enjoy it, but like I said, the drinks are pretty easy to make. I like the variety, and the plushies at the entrance add the look of many places like this. It took us maybe five minutes to get our drinks. Pretty good turn around, and the price is...well, you are paying for being a part of this "moment" like when we were craving over frozen yogurt a decade before. Treating myself every once in awhile is the plan, but when I do, I am usually pleased with my drink of choice. The place is not crowded and you'll easily find yourself a seat while you chat it up with friends or are just waiting for your order.
Now, what differentiates this place from most boba joints is they also offer food, and not just bite size options to compliment your sugary beverage. We're talking ramen. This is not the only place to offer tea first and food second, but it is not as common as you would think, especially outside Atlanta proper. Also, they offer ramen! My partner and I got our fill, and we couldn't have been any happier. We both ordered the vegetarian entree, and it came out after about ten minutes. It was hot, it smelled good, and it was delicious. Filled us up for sure. Finishing it off with a cold drink added to the experience of course. Now the food is the highlight for this place. Most people will probably stop for a quick drink, and given its name, some may not expect there to be food, or expect its quality to be subpar. That's a common perception of such places. Still, I would recommend you check the food out. I was not disappointed.

Fun place, great for date night, or catching up with friends. I'm not a big fan of cooking my own food, but it's fun and keeps the cell phones out of everyone's hands. Your clothes will smell like the food, so dress appropriately. All in all, a fun experience. So cute to see the trains deliver the food to your table!! Plus, it's all you can eat!

I have been to Taichi Bubble Tea quite a bit and the quality of their service, drinks, and food hasn’t changed once! The employees are kind, especially Lian and Jason! Lian is super sweet when I wasn’t sure what drink to get. I got a Thai ice tea and a strawberry green tea w/ STRAWBERRY POPPING boba! They have so many popping boba’s, Lian let me try all of them! Jason was super cool explaining the poke bar. I customized the whole thing, and he made it great 😁
I also ordered the chicken rice box, it came with steaming broccoli 🥦 and corn 🌽. 10/10 great for gym rats.

This place is amazing! They have ramen, rice bowls, poke bowls and even a KBQ! One of the servers with long hair, is so helpful! She showed me the whole menu and described even how it works, definitely taking my friends here! The person with glasses in the front, is also amazing and recommended really good drinks like the mango smoothie! She even showed me around the menu! The workers are really nice, the place is cute, and drinks are great! 🧋🍜

I thought the concept was good: boba tea and Asian bbq in one place. Since I loved both, I was like, "This is totally my jam." Then I saw videos on social media of the food being delivered by cute trains, I was excited to visit the place. I was like, what a novel idea!

Well, there were trains zipping by our table as well as other diners, but I never actually saw the train drop off any food. Instead, the human " train " delivered our food. They were all very nice, especially Andrew, but I had hoped my food would be delivered by one of those trains. So, human servers were great, but the trains needed conductors to deliver the food!

The atmosphere was nice. It was beautifully decorated.I loved the space, so kudos to the designer. It had a cool, hip and fun vibe.

The food was good but not the best Asian bbq I've had. The meat needed to be more seasoned. Also, there were not too many veggie choices or noodles. With that being said, they do have a variety of other dishes such as ramen, burritos, rice bowl etc
