Johnny's New York Style Pizza

Good Pizza great price and good service.

As a contractor I travel and eat out a good bit. Johnny's is usually a reliable franchise and one of my favorites for lunch. While at home I thought I might try a local Johnny's for dinner. This Johnny's was lacking in taste and quality. The pizza dough was bland, the sauce was more of a thin film of tomato juice and the cheese tasted microwaved. When children say they don't like the pizza that speaks volumes. At least my stromboli was better than the pizza.

Visited on a Sunday evening. The inside decor is definitely dated compared to other Johnny's locations but still wanted to give it a try. ( FYI only other location I've been to is the Hiram location). The service was quick and nice. I felt bad that the young lady was in charge of the entire dining space, maybe 8 tables? The pizza was bland and nothing to write home about. My girlfriend got a specialty slice and it just came as a cheese slice loaded with cold toppings. Both pieces tasted lukewarm. The salad was pretty good. I didn't use it but my girlfriend said the bathroom was gross and almost as bad as the one at Northside tavern. If you've been there (or any other dive bar), you'll know what I mean. Only giving 3 stars instead of 2 due to the nice and quick server. Otherwise, there are better pizza options out there.
