I have a big family, of 6. This young lady named Chelsie or Chelsea took our order yesterday, she was so kind and sweet. She gave us good scoops(The scoops are usually small, which I'm not not a big fan of).She had the best customer service I have ever had at this location, with a big smile on her face.We also ordered Nathan's, she cooked the fries to perfection. They were so delicious!
Enjoying going to this location, the ice cream and hot food are always fresh and taste great!!! The service is excellent. Price and portions are reasonable. My favorite is the Chocolate Cookie sundae 😀
Bruster's ice cream is truly the star of the show, offering a creamy and indulgent treat that delights the taste buds with every scoop. The ice cream is impeccably soft and velvety, delivering a burst of flavor that leaves you craving more. With a wide array of options including sorbets, shakes, and an abundance of flavors, there's something to satisfy every craving.
However, while the ice cream may steal the spotlight, the overall experience at Bruster's can be hindered by challenging wait times and organizational issues. Despite the presence of multiple staff members, the lack of coordination and efficiency can lead to frustrating delays, especially during peak hours on Saturdays or holidays.
Improving staff training and assigning specific roles could significantly enhance the customer experience, ensuring that orders are fulfilled promptly and efficiently. With a streamlined approach, such as dedicating one person to food and fryers, three to ice cream scooping and serving, and one to the cash register, Bruster's could vastly improve its service quality.
The location of the Anniston branch, situated on a busy and noisy street next to a dollar store, may detract from the overall ambiance and atmosphere. However, the bench in the green area behind the store offers a peaceful retreat for enjoying your ice cream away from the hustle and bustle.
In summary, Bruster's ice cream earns a resounding five stars for its delectable treats and expansive menu options. However, improvements in service efficiency and a more favorable location could elevate the overall experience to match the excellence of its ice cream offerings.
I would rate 3.5 stars.
Ice cream was delicious and creamy. They give a decent amount for one scoop. The Nathan’s hotdogs and fries were okay. Fries were hot and filling. Not entirely memorable.
Super con: The wait time. It’s extremely slow service. Heavy emphasis on slow. Pack on some patience as perhaps the workers I encountered may have been in training. Be prepared to repeat your order more than once. The couple that arrived behind me left because it was taking so long. There were two workers there that probably could have multi tasked.
